Half the "exam date" pages online publish guesses in a table that looks official. This page separates the two, because acting on a guess is how people miss real deadlines.
As of August 2026, NTA has not released the official JEE Main 2027 or NEET UG 2027 schedule. The notification for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 is generally expected around late October 2026. Until it appears, every specific date circulating online — including on large, confident-looking websites — is a projection.
The windows below are what actually happened in recent years. They are useful for planning roughly when to be free, when to have documents ready, and when to have money arranged. They are not predictions, and you should never treat them as deadlines.

What to do with this page right now
Nothing in the tables above needs your attention today. These three things do, and none of them depend on a date being announced:
- Documents. Category certificate, income certificate where relevant, domicile proof, Class 10 and 12 certificates, photograph and signature in the specified format. Certificates expire and re-issuing them takes weeks. This is the single most common avoidable disaster.
- Eligibility. Read the eligibility section of last year's official information brochure now, not during the application rush. Rules occasionally change, but you'll know what to look for.
- Money. Know roughly what the seat acceptance fee and first-semester payment will be for the kinds of colleges you're aiming at, and when they'll be due. Families get caught by the timing more than the amount.
Always verify against the source. The only authoritative schedules are the official information brochures and websites of NTA (jeemain.nta.nic.in, neet.nta.nic.in), JoSAA, CSAB and MCC. If this page ever disagrees with them, they're right and we're wrong — and we'd like to know.
