What this covers
These terms apply to mapank.in and to any guidance session, group session or consultation we provide. Using the site or booking a session means you accept them.
What we provide
Information and guidance about examinations, counselling processes and college selection, based on publicly available data and our own analysis. We help you make your own decision. We do not make it for you, and we do not act on your behalf.
What we do not promise
- No guaranteed outcome. We do not promise any rank, score, seat, college, branch or admission. Nothing we say should be read as a guarantee, and no member of our team is authorised to give one.
- No influence over any authority. We have no relationship with, and no influence over, NTA, JoSAA, CSAB, MCC, any state counselling authority or any institution.
- No substitute for the official brochure. Dates, eligibility criteria, cutoffs, fees and rules change, and the official information brochure of the relevant authority always overrides anything you read here. You are responsible for verifying against it before you act.
Your responsibilities
- The decisions are yours. So are the forms — you fill them, you check them, you submit them.
- Give us accurate information. Guidance based on a wrong rank, category or state will be wrong guidance.
- Meet your own deadlines. We will help you understand them; we can't extend them and neither can anyone else.
- Verify anything important against the official source before acting on it.
Payments
Prices are shown on the how we make money page and are payable in advance. Fees are for our time and analysis, not for an outcome.
Our content
The writing, analysis and material on this site belong to Mapank. You're welcome to read it, use it for your own decisions, and share a link. Please don't republish it as your own or sell it.
Where we refer to examinations, institutions or authorities, we do so descriptively. All names and marks belong to their owners, and we claim no association with any of them.
Liability
We take this work seriously and we'd rather fix a mistake than argue about one — if our guidance was wrong, tell us and we'll deal with it properly. That said, admission outcomes depend overwhelmingly on factors outside our control, including your own results and the choices of every other candidate, and we cannot accept liability for those outcomes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
